Reggae Gospel takes summer by storm
5 June 2012
Looks like reggae gospel has taken, a significant turn as the summer holidays have started. With Sparkling New songs from Sean Lypher, Ordinary and Rolando Blake. These Three artiste have been dropping tunes to heat up the summer and burn down the gates of Hell. Rolando Blake’s “Gospel to the Streets” is a hard hitting message to Secular artiste and the secular industry, calling names such as Black Ryno, Popcaan, Movado, Bounty Killer any others, he is not dissing anyone, however he is spreading the message that he is taking the Gospel to the Streets, remind each artiste to come and serve the saviour.
Gospel Lyricist “Ordinary” has dropped his new song “Go Hard” on the Jericho Riddim produced by Rolando Blake , stating to all, both secular industry and gospel Industry, that he is going Hard for the Gospel and that he wont stop. He is also encouraging all Gospel Artiste not to settle for mediocrity in their craft, to keep pushing for betterment in their craft, even though it is gospel and it is ministry, we still have to perfect our craft. Psalm 33:3 – “Sing to him a new song, play SKILFULLY”
Sean Lypher, the new Gospel kid on the block, with incredible crazy hits last year like “Make One”, “My Season”, “Represent Now”, Lypher seems to be continuing the trend this 2012, dropping his new song “God Only” on the Reality Riddim. Lypher speaks to each Christian, stating to them, not to chase Money, because the love of Money is the root of all evil “1Timothy 6:10″ he also endorses the fact that he does not do music of Money, he just wants your attention, so he can share the gospel with you. By putting God first in everything, he states that he is rich in Christ and all of his blessings are stored in Christ.Lypher makes it clear, that He will not do any Secular song, he will not leave God for a car, a house, or anything thereof. According to Lypher “Id rather hold down a 9-5 and give thanks from 9-5″
